We were contracted through GLX Constructors to provide soil management services for the Green Line extension project.
Over a three-year period, we successfully managed the transportation and disposal of over 600,000 tons of regulated soils and materials at landfill facilities throughout New England and Canada.
In addition to relocating and restructuring Lechmere Station, the project involved building six new Green Line stations along the Medford and Union Square branches.
This expansion is projected to increase ridership by more than 50,000 trips per day. It will also reduce car rides and related air emissions, while expanding access to fast and reliable public transport in previously underserved areas.
