W. L. French Ranks Among Inc. 5000’s Fastest-Growing Companies in AmericaAugust 17, 2021
WLF is proud to be named on this years’ Top Privately Held Companies by the Boston Business Journal.
W. L. French Excavating Corporation is pleased to announce the company has been named to the Boston Business Journal’s exclusive Fast 50 List for 2020, which represents the 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts.
“We would like to thank our team for continuing to help us move forward. In a time where we are all struggling for positive news this is something our entire team can be proud of,” said company President, Bill French, Jr. “The COVID-19 crisis has changed the way we all live and work. Hard work and business decisions we have made over the years will enable us to work through this public health crisis and economic downturn. We are optimistic about the second half of 2020 when we are able to return to work.”
Boston Business Journal’s research department, along with Fast 50 partner Withum analyzed companies based on a formula that counts revenue growth from 2016 to 2019. Based on the data, the top 50 companies were selected and ranked.
Companies on the Fast 50 must have their headquarters in Massachusetts and must have reported revenue of at least $500,000 in 2016 and $1 million in 2019 to be considered. W. L. French Excavating Corporation also landed a spot on the BBJ Top 100 Privately Held Businesses in Massachusetts published earlier this month.
The BBJ’s Fast 50 celebration, originally slated for May, is now expected to be held in November because of the pandemic. A Fast 50 special publication is scheduled to run in the May 22 weekly edition of the Business Journal. A second publication, complete with rankings by revenue, will be published in conjunction with the Fast 50 event at the Aloft Hotel Seaport in South Boston.
